Q751: Are there any safety features on Facebook that can be used if my child comes across any offensive material or dubious communication?

A new application has now been added to Facebook which will enable users to download the 'ClickCEOP' button and place it within their profiles. This gives Facebook users direct access to advice and guidance should they ever need it, as well as a link to report concerns directly to CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre). Please find the link to this website in related information.

There are various safeguarding measures that can be taken to keep your child safe while they are online. Further advice is available via the 'Internet Matters' and 'Cyberstreet Wise' websites; please see related information.
