Q1001: Can I continue to make deliveries from my business during the Coronavirus emergency?

A business that offers goods for sale / hire, but that is not listed in Q1000, must cease to provide products and services in person. However, they may deliver in response to orders received online, by telephone / text or by post.

Any business premises that are not needed to carry out business in this way must be closed. Businesses providing delivery services must not allow people onto premises unless they are required to be there to carry on the business / make the deliveries.

The above rules to not apply to businesses providing hot or cold food for consumption off the premises.

The 'emergency period began on 26th March 2020. An end date has not yet been specified, but this is being reviewed at least every 21 days.
Failing to comply with the above rules is an offence and can result in a fine.
